Description
Many years ago, one of our family's favorite things was to pack the car and head to Grandma's Place for a weekend visit. Usually, it was a family affair, with uncles, aunts and cousins, converging on Grandma's for the usual feast and homemade desserts. The kids, would explore the fields and woods and occasionally look for hidden treasure in the barns and outbuildings. It was a time that one remembers their entire life with fondness and laughter.
This original watercolor is a nostalgic piece that attempts to capture that small house and the love that filled it on those weekends so long ago.
Prints are available , as well as the original. Since Fine Art America does not handle direct sales of original art, contact me through the link provided in this listing if you are interested in purchasing the original watercolor painting.

Barry, Love this! I am currently working on a similar series retrospective. How lucky we were to have had these memories in simpler times with a magnifying glass as one’s friend in the Magic of meadows and woodlands, and babbling brooks and stones and frogs...and lunch was to be picked from the garden, rinsed, steamed with salt pork and there were no worries! ...life is Good!
