Description
In the Deep South along the Mississippi River Delta, rows and rows of cotton extend as far as the eye can see. A staple agricultural crop for Southern Farmers, the Cotton Industry touches lives worldwide. Who hasn’t experienced the feel of clothing woven from the cellulosic fibers of cotton pressing against there skin. No where is this miracle plant more prized than in the south. From seed, to plant, to cotton bolls, to cotton picker, to gin, to bale, to barge, to textile mill, to manufacturer, to consumer, the tentacles spread far and wide.
