Description
When settlers moved and settled throughout this great nation, the church became the cornerstone of society. From worship services, to lunches on the ground, the family from toddler to great grand parents would gather at the church for fellowship and to support one another during hard times. This old church sits in an area known as Cade's Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains. The headstones dotting the landscape beside the church attests to the faith the mountain dwellers in that area put in their church from Cradle to the Grave. Prints from the original photograph are available in sizes up to 60 inches X 40 inches.

Barry, this is so lovely. I always like it when talented artists such as yourself pay tribute to buildings that are or were the cornerstone of our society and history. Even though this is in sepia tones, your lighting illuminates the church as it illuminated the lives of so many of its people. A favorite of mine for sure.
