Several years ago, while on the Gulf Coast, I had the opportunity to attend the Blessing of the Fleet. That day many people had brought their own boats and I of course my camera. Spectators both in boats and ashore took the opportunity to enjoy some fun in the sun and a day with friends. I took this photo of one such group.T
I decided the photo might be a good choice for a little blend of digital art and photography. The resulting image complete with a canvas texture applied captures the mood of the beautiful bright and sunny fun filled day along the Gulf Coast.
