Early morning begins to show the skyline of Memphis, Tennessee. Memphis is a town of many names: Home of the Blues, Music City, River City, Barbecue Capitol, and more. It is know for its historical heritage and is a thriving community with its early economy based on the production and shipping of cotton.

The city now is a blend of new and old and when you get beyond the gleaming offices and skyscrapers, you begin to see the heritage that his built this great river city and its culture.

Music has always been an important part of this multi-cultural town. The blues put it on the map with people like B. B. King, Al Green and Stevie Ray Vaughn, but it is also know for its Rock and Roll and other Genres. Elvis Presley made his home in Graceland and Jerry Lee Lewis lives nearby. I hope you enjoy this digital image of the city and plan to visit the area soon.
