Delta Blues is a specific Style and genre of early blues. Early players of this unique music, would use hard objects ranging from bottlenecks to jack knives to create an expressive sound that closely imitated the human voice. The music was first recorded in the 1920’s and heavily influenced the blues played along the Mississippi Delta.
The Mississippi Blues has been played on a multitude of factory and homemade instruments, ranging from cigar box guitars to modern 6 string resonator guitars. Players normally use open tunings, a slide and their innate creativity to create a classic sound still enjoyed by many.
For more than 55 years I have produced and sold visual art. I have never restricted my work to one medium. I have produced art works in most common traditional mediums such as pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, gouache, acrylics and oils. I also take and offer photographic art and have produced various digital artworks with prints available on this site. I love art and use the mediums I think best illustrate the subjects visually.
