This is a digital painting from one of my photographs done in watercolor style. The scene depicts two shrimp trawlers moored side by side in a cutoff area of Back Bay Biloxi, Mississippi. Many Shrimp Boat Captains along the coast keep their boats in these protected coves to shelter their investments and livelihood from the frequent squalls and storms that quickly develop offshore and move inland.

For more than 55 years I have produced and sold visual art. I have never restricted my work to one medium. I have produced art works in most common traditional mediums such as pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, gouache, acrylics and oils. I also take and offer photographic art and have produced various digital artworks with prints available on this site. I love art and use the mediums I think best illustrate the subjects visually.
