Description
When the New World was settled, the settlers made New England home. Arriving by sea, they soon learned to fish the waters. The rocky shorelines made navigation somewhat difficult and the storms made seafaring dangerous.
Today, fishermen, lobstermen, oystermen and other commercial fishers go to sea and many live along the ledges of the shoreline, This image is from my original watercolor titled New England Shore.
