Description
This old barn sits off of Byhalia Road, in Desoto County, Mississippi, near the town of Hernando. I have passed this old barn many times and on occasions photographed and sketched it. In my opinion it is a classic barn truly representative of a bygone era. I decided to do a finished drawing of the subject, choosing to give the overhang of the barn an acute perspective to enhance the visual impact. I enjoyed the many hours it took to complete this drawing and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.
Prints are available on this site. I plan to add the original to my Private Collection, but should I decide at a later date to offer it for sale, I will provide information here.
