Description
The smoky mountains of East Tennessee host thousands of visitors each year. The National Park Service maintains numerous recreational areas for vacationers and action seekers. For a photographer, the scenic views, nature, animals, and historical buildings and barns create perfect subjects. For those less attuned to nature or hiking the steep mountain side trails, there is always Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge that offer the traveler more contemporary methods of entertainment.
This is a beautiful scenic view of the Smoky Mountains from the valley below. The atmospheric perspective, gives the mountains a blue cast when view from a distance, creating beautiful layers of cool color that becomes lighter with distance. This is a great image that will look great on any wall.
