A tranquil landscape depicts a lush green forest reflected in the still water of a lake under a cloudy sky at sunset. The colors are rich and vibrant, suggesting the warmth of early autumn.

“Sportman’s Paradise”- 10 inch x 8 inch oil painting on Linen Panel.

Finished this morning and still on the easel. I lived in Shreveport, LA for many years and would fish Lake Bisteneau, Toledo Bend and Wallace Lake for Crappie. Back then all the car tags said “Sportsman Paradise.” That seemed a fitting name for this piece. I feel certain there’s either a 4 lb Crappie or 8 lb Bass hanging out around that fallen tree.

For more than 55 years I have produced and sold visual art. I have never restricted my work to one medium. I have produced art works in most common traditional mediums such as pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, gouache, acrylics and oils.
